Atmo Engine Pro is built to keep your data on your phone. This page explains the little that leaves it, and why.

On your phone

• Your wallpapers, the subject cut-outs made from them, and all settings stay on your device. Subject detection runs on the device.
• The app has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

The accessibility service

Pro uses Android's accessibility permission for one thing only: putting a small window over your phone's clock on the lock screen, showing the part of your wallpaper underneath. It doesn't read your screen or other apps, see your notifications or what you type, tap anything for you, or collect or send anything through it.

Licence activation

To activate your licence, and to re-check it about once a day while you're online, the app sends our licence service three things: your licence key, an identifier for your phone, and your phone's model name (such as "Nothing A063"), so you can tell your phones apart in the app's list. The identifier is a scrambled (hashed) form of the ID Android gives Atmo Engine Pro on your phone; it can't be used to identify you or your phone anywhere else. Nothing else about you or your phone is sent.

The licence service runs on Cloudflare and checks your key with Gumroad. It keeps your key in hashed form, your phones' identifiers and model names, and when each phone was activated and last checked in. A phone's record is deleted when you remove it from your licence in the app.

Updates

When you open the app, and about once a day in the background, Pro checks whether a newer version is out by downloading a small file from GitHub, where the app's downloads are kept. Nothing about you is sent with it; GitHub sees the request the way any website sees a visit. If you choose to update, Pro downloads the new version from GitHub too. If you allow notifications, Pro uses them only to tell you an update is ready.

Checking your licence, checking for updates and downloading the updates you choose are the only reasons the app uses the internet.

Purchases

When you buy Pro, Gumroad, our payment provider, collects your name, email, billing country and payment details to process the order, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details, and use them only to deliver your licence, provide support and handle refunds. We never sell or share them.

Emails

If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you. We don't send marketing emails.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, or to delete it, at khansaad45678900@gmail.com. Records needed for tax or refunds may be kept as long as the law requires.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
